Founder biography
Asad Bandeali is a Lead Strategic Consultant who turns complex social initiatives into work that functions in the real world. As the Founder of A Spark Consulting, he leads a firm dedicated to helping organizations remove friction, bridge the gap between good intentions and real results, and build the skills and structures needed to deliver on their mandates. Through strategic human-centered design and carefully guided planning, rooted in real-world data, he helps leaders build services that are clearer, more responsive, and better aligned with the needs of the people they serve.
Asad operates from the conviction that those closest to the challenge hold its most valuable insights. When a foundation needed to move resources directly to families in need across several states with fundamentally different political and administrative cultures, he led the design of flexible payment systems that centered on family dignity throughout. Drawing on qualitative research with service users and careful assessment of local organizational capacity, he developed practical implementation toolkits that continue to guide and adapt the program as it scales and evolves.
That same human-centered approach shapes his qualitative research practice. In another study in the care sector, he ensured that participants’ voices were not merely collected but meaningfully elevated, shaping findings and directing subsequent phases of program improvement. In a separate initiative exploring the experience of non-native English-speakers accessing healthcare, he designed an experiential learning journey that moved organizational leaders beyond awareness into action, helping them recognize both the value and the humanity of quality interpretation services.
Across engagements, Asad guides focused conversations that help teams and their leaders strategically design services that are clearer, more responsive, and better aligned with the communities they serve. He also advises on governance structures that position lived experience as a genuine seat at the decision-making table, equipping organizations to sustain meaningful transformation independently.
